With the ending of another school year comes lots of fun things. Yet, somehow we had to sneak in a throw-up festival too. So, my blogging has been behind because Joy and Jane have come down with their first stomach bug.
In the last 24hrs they have each gotten sick 9x. Twins are fun ... but a double throw-up bug sure leaves mama and the washing machine tired-out! Hopefully they are finished with it .... and PLEASE pray that the LORD would spare the rest of us!
So on to the excitement:
Last week Dawn had a very exciting moment at school -- the crowning of the kindergarten class. Her teacher Cathy Hicks (fondly known to all the kids as Queen Hicks) is an INCREDIBLE lady. Anyway instead of graduating they are crowned. It's a super cute festivity, complete with a feast, game time, & crowning ceremony.
Queen Hicks also gives them a very special award based on something funny she has seen in them throughout the year. Dawn got the award for being the best in sand building. Apparently her weeks in the cast (when she couldn't play on the playground equipment) developed a new talent in her.
Rose and I were so pleased to attend the crowing ceremony -- Queen Hicks made sure Rose fit right in.
Then last Saturday was Grace and Ann's piano recital. They did such a good job. Ann is moving right along, having completed her first year of lessons.
Grace is really developing a love and talent for the piano -- she has been playing for four years now.
